About Me

I was born in Dallas in 1967.  At the age of six, my family and I moved to Globe, Arizona.  Being a small town, everybody knew each other and worked together.  It was our small town family.  When my parents decided to move back home, I had completed the 5th grade.  Upon arriving in Dallas, I was enrolled in a DISD school.  After much hard work and learning, I graduated in 1987 and began a career as a chef.  I then completed the certification process to become a Master Technician and was technical supervisor for a cable company for 14 years.  Currently, I am a Senior Electronic Technician for the City of Dallas and feel I have found my place as a civil servant.

I’ve been happily married for 19 years and have two boys; one whom recently graduated from Wylie High School and one who is currently a sophomore.

I have been blessed to attend the same small church in Pleasant Grove for over 25 years.  They along with the citizens of Wylie are my small town family that I grew up loving.

My dad always said. “Work hard for what you want and if you don’t bring a solution for the problem, be quiet."

My vision for Wylie is simple….a safer - city one that is a regional leader in the Metroplex. I see Wylie as a better city for seniors, children and working families.  I envision Wylie with clean air and clean water, parks and a vibrant arts community, where people care about their neighbors, where we have adequate housing, where children are assured a quality education and they do not have to fear gangs, where economic development is indiscriminant, where religious leaders teach us how to live amicably with respect for all.
